2FA and Backup Codes
Enabling two-factor authentication (2FA) increases the security of your UndCoin account and the coins/tokens stored in your account. This method of account protection is called two-factor protection because it is the second most important security barrier after the password to log into your account. This really improves security because in addition to the username and password, the attacker must enter a 2FA-code. In the unlikely event that you are hacked, the attacker can reset your password through the email address you provided during registration. However, even if the attacker knows your UndCoin acc username and password, they will still need to enter the 2FA-code.
Passwords
There are several rules for creating passwords.
- The password has never been used before.
- Minimum length is 6 characters.
- Use uppercase and lowercase letters.
- Use special characters and numbers.
HTTP(S)
Check your browser's address bar for an "S" after "http" If there is no "S", it is not a secure connection. You will lose access to your account and may lose your funds. A green lock near the address tells you that the page you visited is secure. If there is no lock, the http protocol is not secure, so pay special attention to the site name in the address bar or do not use it at all. it is safe to use only websites with the https protocol.
